At Sensient Bio-Ingredients, we measure not just profits but also the social and environmental impact of our business. Over the past few years, we have been making consistent efforts to ensure that the environmental sustainability is integrated into our manufacturing process. We believe that acting in a sustainable way will not only make us nimbler in a fast-changing world, it also provides us an opportunity to strengthen our work culture.

The following represent some of the sustainability initiatives we continue to take in our plants globally:

• Installation of energy recovery equipment and technologies to reduce use of natural gas
• Projects that promote the Reuse, Reduce and Recycle of waste
• Investment in equipment to significantly reduce dust and chemical emissions
• Process improvements to reduce water consumption and increase recovery levels of process water
• Rolling program to switch all sites to high efficiency lighting
